11th grade: finished off the early parts of the Puritan units and all of the Native American units.  We are taking the test on “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” Thursday, turning in study materials and worksheets on “To my Beloved Husband…Upon the Burning of our House” pieces and “Sinners” materials Friday.  Classes continue to do Verbal Advantage words and tests every day, words one day, open note quiz the next.   Students will be starting the play “The Crucible” on Thursday about the Salem Witch trials.  Study materials will probably be handed out Friday or Monday for Act 1, and will be due next week Friday.

12th grade: finished off the Beowulf unit, started the Research Papers, first submission of the Senior Paper Thesis was today, I will get them back to students during blocks this week with feedback.  Final drafts of Thesis should be accepted by Friday this week to be on schedule.  We are finishing off the Illiad unit, worksheets and study guides are due Friday, the test was today, and the film is on block days.  Classes continue to do Verbal Advantage words and tests every day, words one day, open note quiz the next.

Grades have been updated for all classes.  I can see the categories of assignments need to be edited, there should only be 2, classwork and tests right now, no homework.  The grades and points are correct and the main point in posting now is for students to check their ID numbers and passwords and make sure they are right.  There are too few scores in the books for grades to have much accuracy, missing an assignment or two at this point drops a grade drastically with this few assignments in the books.
