Grades have been posted for the Fall 2009 semester

All of my classes can check their grades from the progress reports now. If there is a problem with your login, please let me know.

Quarter grades are available now under the “Check Student Grades” link

All students in my classes for Fall 2009 should be able to view their grades via my website now.  Just go to the lower right area of this home page, click the Check Student Grades link underneath Resources.  A new window will pop open, then select your class period, type in your last name as your login, and your 6 digit school ID number as the password.  If you have any trouble, please let me know so I can get it resolved ASAP. Note: Senior Approval Contracts for the Senior Project are due Friday October 9.  If you don’t turn in a contract by that date you will not be allowed to do a Senior Project.

Final grades have been posted for Senior English classes. Senior grades do not show the impact of the final. The final exam is worth +2% if the student earns an A or a B on it, worth +0% if the student earns a C, and worth -2% if the student earns a D or F. Most classes have received their finals back so they know how it impacted their grades already. In case students did not receive their final back yet, a printout with student ID numbers, final class grades and the final exam adjustment is taped to the window of my room. Sophomore grades are close but not quite finished yet, and do not include the final yet.

Grades have been updated for all classes. There are only a handful of scan trons for me to enter for the Senior classes, and the only thing coming in from the 10th graders is makeup tests and papers, the last day for me to accept them is Thursday June 11. There was an error yesterday in the 10th grade grades, the scores were reported right, but some assignments were designated in the Reading Counts category that were supposed to be in the Classwork category. The mistake has been corrected in the new reports. Please check back again, I have at least one more update for Seniors and probably two or three more for Sophomores.

I uploaded the grades for all classes with a few more assignments added, and with the final grades for Reading Counts (EBS). I still have work to enter, keep checking back…

Grades have been updated for all classes. I still have lots of work to enter, this was just another convenient time to post. I have not “cleaned them up.” In other words, I have not made sure all the assignments are spelled correctly, or that all the assignments are grouped together by unit, but the data is here and the students need to know. I expect I will be posting again this weekend with a more “cleaned up” version. Check back soon!
